What are the requirements for the different categories for “Weez Walk 2024”?
We welcome members of any age and ability to join! For participants who are under 18, their parents / guardians should grant consent for the participation and provide contact information on the registration form.
How do I register as a team?
Each team member will have their own accounts that they can log in to, upload photos and update their fundraising page.
I have signed up, now what?
You will receive an Event email at your registered email. If you do not receive the email in your inbox, please check your spam box. Follow the instructions in the email to log in to your participation account!
Can I edit my personal information and the category?
Once you have registered, your personal information and category can't be changed.
Before or during the event period, can I transfer my participation account to someone else?
Once you have registered, your participation account, your registration fee, and other donation amounts cannot be transferred.
My T-shirt doesn't fit, what can I do?
To ensure you get the right size, we strongly recommend you to check your measurements on our website before registration. It would cost us extra money to arrange an exchange or send you a new T-shirt by post. If you get an unfit T-shirt, we hope you could keep it for personal use, either give it to a friend, or use it at the gym etc. If you would like a replacement, please visit our online shop to buy one.
Activity Log
Do I need to use any specific apps to record my activity logs?
TRAILME is our official tracking app. We will not be accepting any other tracking apps. Only records on TRAILME will be counted for the best finishing times and be issued with an e-certificate of completion with timing printed on it. However, you are still welcome to enjoy the walk with friends and family.
I will use another app beyond TRAILME for the tracking, am I entitled for a certificate of completion?
TRAILME is our official tracking app. We will not be accepting any other tracking apps. Only records on TRAILME will be counted for the best finishing times and be issued with an e-certificate of completion with timing printed on it. However, you are still welcome to enjoy the walk with friends and family, and you will still receive an e-certificate of participation in the end.
What is the difference between the Certificate of Participation and the Certificate of Completion?
All participants joining Weez Walk will receiving a certificate of participation which will include your name. Only those who complete the full trail in one go or by stages using the TRAILME app will be given a certificate of completion which will include your name and time.
Can I run / walk the trail with my team members in relay?
We encourage everyone to enjoy the walk with their families and friends in any way within the event window. Therefore, you and your teammates are more than welcome to complete the walk in relay if you join the leisure walk. But if you want to get a certificate of completion as a team, at least one member in your team must complete the full route.
How and when will the results be announced?
The fundraising leaderboard will be updated live, while the best finishing time will be uploaded to our event page and announced on KELY's platforms in mid-March 2024. We will send out emails and call to notify winners.

Can I get a donation receipt?
Registration fees are non- tax-deductible. Donations of HK$100 or above (independent of the registration fees) are entitled to a tax-deductible receipt. Please indicate your name for the receipts when you are making the donation. Receipts will be sent out electronically by April 2024.
Personal Information Collection Statement
After registration, participants agree that the Organisers and third-party service providers engaged by the Organisers may use their name(s), address (es), photograph(s), audio and/or visual recording(s), biodata and likeness (es) in all preparations and promotions in connection with the Event for any lawful purpose in perpetuity as the Organisers may in their sole and absolute discretion decide, and agree to waive any right of inspection or approval associated therewith.

What equipment should I use for my walk?
It's important that you're well-equipped for your walk, especially if you’re considering going to do a couple of stages or the full walk in one go. We have suggested a list of equipment you might consider:

- Sun hat or cap
- Walking stick
- Plenty of water
- Snacks
