We are from Herbert Smith Freehills and are participating in KELY Support Group's Weez Walk to raise funds for youth mental health and suicide prevention.
The Weez Walk is a 60+ km coastal walk around the entire Hong Kong island. We are doing this in phases and will post pictures as we go! :)
According to KELY Support Group, its youth-focused mandate is a "direct response to the elevated vulnerabilities in recent years". A recent survey by local universities in 2023 indicated that "nearly 18% have reported suicidal ideation, and around 8% had made a suicide attempt." "While at the same time, timely help-seeking is rare, due to mental health stigma and limited resources."
